Taiwan Centennial Portrait GIS Database
The Taiwan Centennial Portrait GIS Database features 25,000 photographs taken between 1860 and 1945, capturing the diverse aspects of Taiwan’s history during the Japanese colonial period. Using Geographic Information Systems (GIS), these images are mapped to their historical locations, accompanied by captions in Chinese and Japanese, enabling a visual comparison of Taiwan’s past and present human geography.

Taiwan Food Culture Database
Featuring over 1,300 dishes from the Manchu Han Imperial Feast and the six major regional cuisines of China, this database provides comprehensive details on ingredients and preparation methods. Users can easily search for dishes and view linked full-color images.
Online Taiwan History Dictionary
Covers the development of Taiwan’s politics, military, economy, society, and education from prehistoric times up to 2003. The dictionary includes over 4,600 entries, nearly 3 million words, 554 valuable historical images, and 44 types of charts, making it an essential reference for exploring Taiwan’s history.
Taiwan Contemporary Biography (1946–1990)
